i never got into that “#teamnosleep” foolishness.
i think i saw diddy tweeting it one time.
afterwards i saw people who just wanted to be up for no reason.
i guess to give the impression to strangers they are busy?
i dunno.
all i know is i’m getting my 8 hours or close to it.
well i saw this on my tumblr just now and i see why i never neglected sleep…

being completely rested.
listen i’ve stayed up for 24 hours before with no fucks yo give.
party hopping,
being around a wolf,
or just staying up to watch movies or work.
realistically i can’t function the next day without a good night’s sleep.
i’m not as alert as i need to be,
i fuck up on everything,
and i get REAL moody.
like don’t talk to me and i hate everyone kind of moody.
you ever notice a pimple will go down when you sleep?
well sleeping is what causes your body to heal.
plus no sleep makes you look older before your time.
the foxhole doesn’t do “haggard”.
your career,
or whatever it is you are chasing,
will come with hard dedicated work and being a good person.
don’t listen to these dumb asses talkin about “grindtime”.
they been screaming that for the last 4 years.
not sleeping is not going make you successful overnight.
so get some rest and let the world see that rested “GLOW”.

just got seven going back for my 8th hour, i cant function without sleep. Me without sleep = mega asshole with no fucks to give.
Just last night I couldn’t sleep. But yea sometime I can sleep and other nights I can’t. But one thing that I notice I can’t sleep when my body is all heated up and hot. Summer is going to be hell for awhile.
I only get maybe 6 hours of sleep at night. #collegeproblems maybe it’s because I’m more of a night person I guess.
Best advice Jamari, I used to be up for hours thinking I’m going to miss something then when I started going to school in the evening after working all day, the only time I had available to complete assignments was in the night. I used to give myself at least till 3:30am and try to get to bed to wake up at 7 and get to work for 8. It was crazy but worth it. The only set back now is I get most of my ideas in the night :/

See, sometimes I can’t sleep. The feeling just isn’t there. I have just now gotten to the point where even if I’m not sleepy, I go lay my ass down because I just went the longest time with my sleep schedule being fucked up. I kinda felt alone too. Like I was the only one in the world awake and everybody else was enjoying a nice quiet sleep. I used to stay up for fun. Then I noticed my OCD started acting up real bad when I didn’t get any sleep.
