one of the Foxholers said that if this was a story line in “empire”,
this is something hakeem would do.
i can believe it.
hakeem was the wild one out of the 3 brothers.
Foxholers have been sending me how fast he is moving in this new role on OF…

and we are off to the races…

I couldn’t help but wonder:
Are we finally waking up to the madness that’s been parading as entertainment?

a friend recently said to me:

“Have you noticed a majority of folks on OF are crazy or severely mentally ill?”

i paused,
but honestly,
i had to agree.
many of these folks are confidently nuts or selling their souls. let’s take it a step further…

in 2015,
you could not WAIT for a wednesday night.
empire on fox had us all in a choke hold.
that first season was iconic.
fuck that.

Legendary.

alas,
the show fell off in the second season.
by third,
it a shell of it’s former self and by the fourth,
it was a pass around in time slots.
i use to fantasize about playing a villain on that show.
a few of the actors have transitioned into other things.
others fell way too hard from grace.
a Foxholer sent me a drop about one of the stars alleged new role…

and if it’s true,
i’m at a loss for font…

I couldn’t help but wonder:
When we find ourselves in the midst of a huge scandal,
where our reputations are really on the line,
is silence truly golden?

when lightweight drama hits,
like cheating or “someone got offended by something” scandals,
one of the best things you can do is shut up and let the storm pass.
people will always create their own narratives.
when accusations get serious tho,
it’s a different game altogether.
those need to be addressed immediately before they spiral out of control.
take the recent mess with castro,
jacobi,
and his manz dem.
it turned into a forest fire in about 2.5 seconds.

well,
jacobi finally got castro to explain the situation and…

I couldn’t help but wonder:
Do we all carry a secret fantasy,
a vision of revenge that keeps us going through the toughest times?

i have this secret fantasy in my head.
a clear vision of how i’d like my life to turn out.
it’s what keeps me going as i suffer.
it’s a vision of me finally happy…

a breakup
a job loss
rejection
the death of someone close to us
setbacks that make us question our path
being ostracized from people we thought were our friends/family
struggling to accept not being straight
being violated and no one wants to listen or believe you/sides with the abuser

all these unwelcome guests can open the door to depression.
