so one of my best vixen friends sent me something about amanda seales.
my personal thoughts on amanda is:

She is usually right about certain things but other times,
I think she can be the common denominator in her woes too.
Unfortunately,
within the black community,
you either play the game or you get ostracized.
So many other black folks had to go to white spaces to get “accepted”.

if you remember,
or don’t,
she spoke her truth about not being invited or recognized at any major black events.

i keep saying and fonting that people don’t appreciate you until you gone.

i keep telling folks that being a celebrity or content creator isn’t easy.
don’t get me wrong,
there are perks that come with fame.
it can be very mentally and emotional draining tho.

It ain’t like our social media pages where we have full control of the narrative.

when we achieve fame,
we are a punching bag for the general public.
everyone will pick us apart with a fine tooth comb.

if we are perfect then our partners get it.
if we are flawless,

i find that black vixens don’t always have it easy.
bey and rih did not have it easy but had backings from their day ones.
i’m thankful they are at point where everyone has no choice but to kiss their ass.
i saw a video of serena williams that made me compassionate for her…

remember after the rih and chris brown debacle,
chris brown defenders were all like:

“THE TRUTH IS GOING TO COME OUT ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED IN THAT CAR!”

i always asked if they were in the trunk and i was met with silence and grimaces.
i love playing devil’s advocate with these hoes.
the next week or month after the incident,

i concluded there are a lot of simple bitches out here.
so i saw today that in megan and tory debacle,
kelsey nicole who was the best friend of megan and full blown attentionista,
is going to “speak” on some podcast:
