there are times i regret my rebellious phase with my mother.
Lord,
when i think back,
i was a mess.
i remember telling her i got someone pregnant because she got me vex.

then again…

Every teenager wanted to move out with a bunch of other teenagers,
all who weren’t working,
because they had a gigantic speaker in the living room to throw parties.

…or that might have just been me.
mo’nique legit said if she knew he would be doing tiktoks about her in the future,
she would have….

two things can be true at the same time.
even three things can be true.

Mo’Nique can be the hero and the villain.

she could speak her own hurt but be responsible for the hurt of others too.
her oldest son being the person she has hurt.
hurt people hurt people?

i was posed with a thought after an intense therapy session today,
and even seeing clips of this mo’nique interview on club shay shay…

it’s good to see mo’nique getting her shit together.
she saw all her “sweet babies” coming in her comments with the torches.

she had to pull it together quickly.
mo’nique decided to drag dl hughley publicly,
along with bringing his family into it,
so she apologized publicly…

i was so happy for her when she booked the role on bmf.
i understood her pain and trauma from dealing with black hollywood.

i don’t like it when some black vixens,
during an argument,
