over the weekend,
i was craving to watch something that felt both real and raw.
it led me to watching megan the stallion‘s documentary,
“in her words”.
there’s been so much chatter about her supposedly lying about sleeping with tory lanez.
i couldn’t help but think,
“honestly, wouldn’t anyone lie about that?”
i wanted the full story of all that went down in 2020.
the whole messy and unfiltered truth.
the clips floating around on social media were painting her out to be this villain.
so i watched and let me font…

i’m glad megan the stallion is coming hard this era.
i was bored with the many ways she could shake her tail.
like taylor swift during her “reputation” era,
megan is embracing the rumors and coming for everyone’s neck.
i listened to her new track,
hiss,
this morning…

you’ll always remember the first time you were turned on.
when you are getting slandered like crazy by an enemy,
and as much as you are innocent,
they are more convincing to the public for whatever reason.
if it has never experienced that,
consider yourself lucky because it’s horrible.

megan thee stallion did the right thing when they all turned on her.
she surrendered and took a step back.
while they were filling in the blanks about her character,
she was healing and trying to stay in her bag.
it’s a blessing to have someone in your corner like cardi b in the industry.

i need the tory lanez/megan the stallion case to come to an end.
