i ended up clappin’ cheeks because others told me how hard it would be

this is gonna be a silly entry but maybe a life-changing one,
depending on who picks up what i’m putting down.
so as you know,
or didn’t,
but i’ve been playing breath of the wild on the switch.
it has been keeping my mentalz pretty chill.
i haven’t played it for a few days but i finally got to the boss before the boss.

Van Naboris,
the dreaded camel in the desert level.

everyone,
from foxholers to reviews online,
talked about how difficult the level and boss were.
going into it,
i dreaded it and started doubting myself.
i had the skills and learned how to whoop ass up until that point.
apparently,
this is where all i learned was gonna be tested.

what i’ve realized while playing breath of the wild these days…

i’m legit obsessed with this game atm.
breath of the wild on the nintendo switch best represents life.
i bought this game in 2021 during the lockdown.
during that time,
i wasn’t in the right headspace for it.
i picked it up twice and each time,
i felt overwhelmed.
like my own life around that time,
i felt intimated by this big forest in front of me.
in zelda,
once you move past a particular section,
the world opens up for you to explore.

i’ve found a new game to play on my nintendo switch that i’m obsessed with

i’ve been trying to play my nintendo switch more.
it is such an awesome system to have.
it’s portable and the graphics are chef kiss.

nintendo switch wants to take you all the way back

the nintendo switch is an amazing device.
i don’t think folks give it much credit.
they are definitely trying to go further with it than other systems in nintendo’s past.
“super nintendo” was a childhood fav for my friends and i.
i remember some of the games i played on that system.
nintendo switch decided to bring back some of our childhoods last week…

This New Mario Kart Is Looking Right AF

i am a mario kart champion.
no one can beat me.
no one.
even if i’m playing as bowser’s slow ass.
that is one game that i’m confident in my skills.
i have played damn near every mario kart.
by myself.
with others.
i always won because i’m just that nice.
as soon as i start working again,
i’m getting me a nintendo switch for the new “mario kart 8 deluxe”.
