why are they trying to make ernie and bert gay?

of course,
bert would be holding a carrot.
so i don’t know if i like the following story.
as someone who grew up watching “sesame street”,
who thought it was a real place as a cub,
i can honestly font that i’m a little perturbed.
so two icons sexualities from that show have been the discussion for years.
