this morning,
i was texting with my lil big sis and she fonted something that blew me away.
it was one of those oprah “a-ha” moments you get on random.
funny enough,
it was also about oprah too.
we were talking about the color purple,
taraji,
and all the bts drama that’s being alleged.

“I’m not ready to take her off my don’t like don’t want to meet list I mean she’s Oprah.
I’ll meet her but be clear I’m getting one side of Oprah and to take it with a grain of salt.”

that was my “a-ha” moment…

ya know what i didn’t like about patreon?
even though i am grateful for the opportunity,
i felt like couldn’t be myself.

1. I always felt like i was talking on eggshells
2. I couldn’t add gifs and all the fun things we do here
3. The password shit annoyed me to no end (especially the countless questions about it)

i always wanted all of my content on here as well.
recently,
i was talking to a vixen who told me:

i looked into those options and felt it couldn’t be done.
God always has a plan in motion even when we can’t see it…

when you get into the entertainment industry,
you are going in there solo dolo.
there is no one to call when you are being sexually harassed,
threatened,
or being told you have to exchange sexual favors on the casting couch.
there are many who live in shame after things they’ve done/experienced.
this is why there is so much drug and alcohol abuse.
they do those things help them forget.

remember the scene in kill bill,
probably in the beginning,
where bride is getting punched around by the other assassins?
they all turned on her for bill,
hence the name “kill bill”.
the whole movie was about her having to show up again.

She had to show tf up so she could take them all down,
one by one.

she had to learn to get her fight back.
kill bill is one of my favorite movies.
it came out in 2003 when i was a “bride”.
i thought that year was going to break me tbh.
its interesting how 2023 has mirrored 2003 in many ways.
many of us seem to have the same opinion about this year…
