some of the gays can be EXTRA jealous and catty so this applies.
as you know,
many black folks come from the hoods of struggle.
we imagined the “good life” and strived to be there.
that seat at the table.
unfortunately,
many of us like to advertise our new worth on social media.

Gold chains
Designer clothes
Nice cars
Hanging with the haves

these things can raise our social stock within the communities.
the invites,
the follows,
the sex,
and the “in”.

a majority of us are a shallow and materialistic bunch tbh.
i’ve seen a lot of jealousy and envy in my own life to understand…
