it feels like the mic dropped and we are okay with it being on the floor.
we’re living through a joke of an election that isn’t very funny.
in fact,
it is quite scary how we have normalized bad behavior.
just when we thought it can’t get more un-serious,
this rally at madison square garden yesterday…

he comes off fake and doesn’t come off effortless.
it’s like he’s trying too hard or something.
he went to the white house for their juneteenth event and…
well,
he did something that got him trending in the worst way possible…

if you would have told me that back in 2009,
a time before we ended up in this weird timeline,
that these two would become complete disappointments…

this weekend,
i went far down the oj simpson rabbit hole than i should have.
i was a kid when all this shit went down so i wasn’t interested.
my mother,
grandmother,
and aunt were all locked TF in during the trial.

I remember my aunt having a tabloid that showed the entire crime scene and the dead bodies.

so i watched a few things about the murders of nicole brown simpson and ron goldman,
along with researching all kinds of “who did it?“ and “what was the motive?“.
it creeped me TF out but i was so fascinated.
i learned one thing about oj simpson that reminds me of some of these black males today…

the first time i heard rumblings of shadiness behind the company,
black lives matter,
my foxy senses knew it was a matter of time.
when i heard of questions about where the donation money went,
random big ass houses that were bought,
and whispers of alleged plastic surgery,
my foxy senses could smell the smoke before the forest fire.

Black lives matter…
but it doesn’t seem to matter to the co-founders of the BLM organization
