last night,
as i watched them speak at the dnc,
it felt like a wave of nostalgia mixed with a cold dose of reality.
the obamas have this way of making you want to level up.

after the speeches ended and the tv went dark,
a thought kept circling in my mind.

Is it fair to ask Kamala Harris to be the savior of black people alone?

so i asked him if he had seen the other politicians from past and present?

bernie,
and even jfk…
they don’t/didn’t exactly look like they swam in the fountain of youth.
just as i sent that message to him…

Over the years,
one thing I’ve learned about a bully is when they’ve met their match,
they will do everything in their power to become invisible or run for the hills.

why would he?
2024 continues to be the year of “this was not on my bingo card“.

we witnessed an underdog rise and conquer.
as much as i fux with drake’s music,
he has done some shit that made me side-eye him over the years.

A controversial statement but Kamala Harris bugs me.

i’ve aired my grievances about her many times.
my main issue?
she doesn’t feel authentic.
you know when she feels authentic?
when she is in shady bitch mode.
