i am not a black woman.
i cannot speak for the issues that black women face.
i do know that when i first came to this country,
and i was bullied horrifically by the straight black boys,
it was black girls who came to my rescue.
they protected and made me feel safe.
as i grew up with them,
i understand that we both share many of the same issues.
some of our straight black “kangs” need to get their shit together.
they are driving us crazy with their shenanigans.

i’m not having the greatest day today tbh.
i was looking for something to change that.
i watched this speech by regina king at the 14th annual governors ball.
it was to honor our legendary queen and national treasure,

when i went to look for his page to see the video,
because The Foxholer who sent it didn’t respond yet,
it wasn’t there when i searched for it.
the Foxholer sent me his page to see the video and still nada.

I was blockedT.

confused,
i was!
i’ve posted his friends and they were all cool.
this one had an issue and i couldn’t understand why.

some males don’t realize the after effects of being gay for pay.
they think,

I feel like spiritually,

That can be a culture shock all in itself.

you ever looked at someone who lost their light?
it’s a sad thing to see someone who is selling their soul and not into it.
you see them start changing and turning to drugs.
look at some of the people,
male and female,
who were bright eyed and bushy tail before hollywood.
even though he was an alleged asshole to the Foxhole,
i have compassion for those who have lost their way.

I watched the entire katt williams interview with shannon sharpe on sunday morning.
I woke up earlier than I should have and said:

“Why not?”

I thought it was entertaining and informative.
katt has a way of speaking and being engaging.
it was all eyes on him.
shannon sharpe isn’t a great interviewer tbh.
if you paid attention,
katt lowkey shaded him a few times.
i did appreciate shannon’s bawdy tho.
