so i woke up this morning,
dealing with a cold that’s trying to infect my body,
and had so many alerts about yet another senseless mass shooting.
this time it was at a bar,
in thousand oaks, california,
where 12 people were gunned down.
a night of partying for some college students turns into a real life horror movie.
it got all too real when tamera mowry-housley,
half the star of “sister sister” and host of “the real”,
was looking for niece,
alaina housley.
i kept my fingers crossed,
hoping she would have turned up alive,
but i knew it didn’t look to well because…
…her apple watch and iphone were showing that her location was still on the dance floor.
it turned out alaina was one of the 12 that was murdered.
it was her freshman year at pepperdine university.
tamera and her husband,
adam,
said in a statement:
“Our hearts are broken. We just learned that our niece Alaina was one of the victims of last night’s shooting at Borderline bar in Thousand Oaks. Alaina was an incredible young woman with so much life ahead of her and we are devastated that her life was cut short in this manner. We thank everyone for your prayers and ask for privacy at this time.”
i read that adam is an alleged republican.
if this is true…
I wonder what is his stance on gun control?
this country is in need of a heavy revamp.

i’m nervous as whats about to come.
i can imagine it’s gonna get much worse.
The guy even posted that the only thing that will be done is people “offering their condolences” and “sending prayers”
He is so right. There will be arguments AGAIN for gun control, but nothing will come of it. NRA has too many politicians in their pocket, and until this affects the family of someone very powerful…nothing is going to happen. The fake arguments will continue.
I find it difficult to care.
The NRA is the modern day Klu Klux Klan. Having background checks to stop psychos from having guns threatens their right to bear arms. How? They already have guns. Or maybe they wouldn’t pass psych evals and the gun business would go bankrupt because many who want guns are coo coo.
If a kid kills a cat, squirrel or bird, he’s going to be a serial killer. But if he kills a deer, its normal? Going to a shooting range to cool off is creepy.
Being okay with taking life period is disturbing. And when it’s for fun and not food? I will not be going up to any Hunter’s cabin for the weekend.
