Oprah Winfrey’s OWN is partnering with Pilgrim Studios and filmmaker Amy Rice to produce The Untitled Michael Sam Project (working title), a multi-part original documentary series about Michael Sam, the first openly gay football player to be drafted into the NFL.
The series takes a deeply personal, up-close look at the All-American defensive end and SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Year as he enters the competitive world of pro football, says OWN. Cameras will follow Sam as he works to earn his spot on the St. Louis Rams all while under the intense scrutiny of being the first openly gay player in the NFL. “We are honored that Michael is trusting us with his private journey in this moment that has not only made history but will shape it forever,” said Oprah Winfrey.
“Like every player out there working to make a team right now, my focus is on playing football to the very best of my ability,” said Sam. “I am determined. And if seeing my story helps somebody else accept who they are and to go for their dreams too, that’s great. I am thankful to Oprah for her support and excited to work together.”

I cannot say i am surprised. Frankly i ŵas waiting on who was going to be the frist to follow his journey to the team. Well good ole fag hag Oprah has beaten the pack of wolves. CNN must be grinding its teeth. I think he is making a mistake, i see his point but frankly his admission on his sexuality is his. Others will face their own battle and their own fears. Sams decision will not help them to come forward. Its is still a personal issue. They may look at Sams jpurney but it may not work for them. I think he should keep it on the low, we know he is gay so lets move on. Waving the flag and being the standard bearer for gays is not the desired position. We just want to see him play AND succeed. That is important and more motivational to all gays than Oprahs grand standing. Wrong move Sam.

Well a teenage boy was crying while watching the draft his dad asked what was wrong,he told his dad he was gay.The father posted the story on Mizzou website. A reporter told Michael during press conference yesterday.
I’m sure the Snow fox will be in it. I’m sure they’ll show the haters too. They showed Michael Vick’s haters in his reality show. Oprah needs to stop being so damn desperate tho. Lindsay is the lowest anyone can go. All Oprah is doing is being an enabler. I bet if Lindsay was found dead, her parents would blame Oprah.
This is one show I won’t be watching. Not because of Michael Sam. I’m just sick reality shows in general.

I will be tuning in. I actually like Michael, he seems cool dude who has a goal and I support him. Michael and his boyfriend went to the same school, that is how they met. They look cute together tho, not even gonna lie man.
I see that Michael Sam’s former porn star boyfriend is versatile from the videos that I saw. Does that mean that the boyfriend is versatile? Does that mean that Sam is versatile? Will Oprah’s show have video of Sam getting his big ass smashed?
