i remember when i wrote this ( x entry ) about tlc.
it caused quite the commotion.
well i may have been right.

it was brought to my attention that tlc hasn’t released any new material.
they raised damn near half a mill and no album to show for it.

Let’s not come for TLC. And if people had actually been paying attention they would know TLC is in the studio WORKING on it now.. They sent out an email to people who donated and they’ve been tweeting about it so if you actually paid attention you’d know. And 5 dollars isn’t going to buy you a new album moron. FOH.

The fan was not rude and only wanted a follow up to what was promised or a refund. If we are going to talk about rude, it has to be T-Boz response. I use to feel bad for them when being taking advantage of, but this response comes off as selfish and heartless from T-Boz. She can go out and purchase a vehicle and adopt, but can not come out with an album. She better hope an attorney does not feel like putting together a class action law suit. Some people learn and grow from mistakes, and others become selfish and hardened by society, or maybe this has been her attitude all her life. Who knows, but hopefully they do right by fans and produce the album.
she could have just replied with a “new music coming soon” or something. Either new music needs to come out or they need to refund the money everyone gave.
I love TLC but it stunts like this that will tarnish the good they have done in the past.
I’ll always love their catalog, but they lost me with this. Fans have a right to at least see an attempt at their return of investment.
That’s why I’ll never use these glamorized panhandling sites…
