the outside quarantine party has sent folks back inside (some didn’t make it inside at all)

between the rona,
being unemployed,
finishing up my media kit to start looking for sponsorships for the foxhole,
the summer of 2020 has been a wash for me.
i’m good with that.
i still don’t trust outside even though cases in new yawk are dropping.

If I’m not getting in someone son/daughter car,
I’m good.

everyone is outside and you know what summer usually means:

The hyenas start killing

this was a “quarantine (outside) party” where thousands attended in the southeast of dc:

it didn’t end well because folks ended up getting shot

????????????#1️⃣2️⃣0️⃣????(ARTICLE)- A teenager was killed and 20 others, including an off-duty police officer, were shot at a large gathering in southeast Washington, DC, early Sunday, officials said. DC Police Chief Peter Newsham said multiple shooters carried out the attack that killed 17-year-old Christopher Brown. 20 other people suffered gunshot wounds, according to police spokeswoman Brianna Jordan. One DC Police officer was shot and is “struggling for her life right now,” Newsham said. She was off duty at the time and was taken to a hospital by police officers on the scene. Of those shot, two are 17 years old and the rest are adults. The rest of the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, Newsham said. Police are currently looking for at least three shooters, but Newsham said he suspects that “it’s probably more.” He said that no permit was issued for the large gathering of hundreds of people. Gatherings over 50 people are currently prohibited in DC because of the coronavirus pandemic. Although there were police officers at the scene, they were unable to break-up the gathering, Newsham said. “There were not sufficient officers to be able to move a crowd of that size,” Newsham said. He said the mass shooting was an “isolated incident.” The gunfire erupted at a cookout with hundreds of people gathered outside, a neighbor told WUSA. Several social media posts advertised the annual “34th-n-EAT” block party to be held in the area Saturday night with bottles of alcohol and a DJ. Newsham said a dispute broke out at the gathering and several people produced weapons and exchanged gunfire. DC Mayor Muriel Bowser said, “it is very important that as a community we have zero tolerance for this activity.” Story Developing….. #MurderWitDaLatest✅

not a mask in sight.

is it me…

…or am I the only one who gets anxiety in large crowds like that?

i remember being in a large crowd when gun shots erupted.
its like you don’t know where to run during the mayhem.
crime has gone up since folks ain’t got nothing to do,
many are unemployed,
the police don’t gaf,
and the kids are reckless with their misdirected anger.
i have no time.
everyone in the foxhole…

Please stay vigilant during these very interesting times.

i have a feeling its gonna get even more interesting as the months go on.

  1. Where are the Black-on-Black crime coons at? To say this is why they don’t support Black Lives Matter because of a few desperate hood boogers (what happened to a few bad apples not representing us as we’re not monolithic) when they’re really bouncing on pink peen and flooding pink holes thinking it makes up for slavery.

  2. You and me both get anxiety with large gatherings. That’s why I’m a homebody 90% of the time…when will Americans get it and stay your ass home until things get back to normal. Lucky my introverted ass love being alone…it’s unfortunate several ppl lost their lives from this

  3. No J!! I don’t like large ass crowds either. I remember going to Times Square for New Year’s Eve back in the 90’s. I will NEVER do that shyt again. That was the most unnerving feeling I ever experienced. I felt like we were targets just waiting to be attacked the entire time…and there’s nowhere to run/escape.

It’s sad that we cannot have congregations/parties without some assholes wanting to spoil the fun, even though they shouldn’t be grouped together like that in the middle of a pandemic.

We ask/look for respect from others, but we can’t do the same for one another. It’s crazy…and sad

    1. ^right!
i’ve never done new years in TS and never will.
i always wondered how do people pee in a crowd like that?

i’ve come to realize i don’t feel comfortable standing in the middle of a crowd like that.
i gotta stay on the side so that if shit goes down,
i can maneuver my tail to the nearest escape route.
