the bugs may get you

if you look closely,
you’ll always find a lesson in something.
these days,
my job teaches me so much of not WHAT to do.
they love to drive folks crazy putting out fires that ain’t even happen yet.
i’m learning what it means to be uptight and high-strung.
i’ve noticed my mood has been all outta wack because of my frustration.
it has made me become pessimistic and angry all the fuckin’ time.
they remind me of how “putting out potential firesmy late mother was.
my mother was notorious for worrying about shit that ain’t happen.
i worked really hard to get outta that mentality and my boss is like that.

I don’t fuck with that at all

i’m on this new path to being more laid back and chill about shit.
so i caught myself being nervous and putting out a fire about bugs…

Bugs from updating to the new iOS 13 and watchos 6 on my iphone and apple watch

i wanted to update my phone,
but i was reading that there was a ton of bugs within the new release.
i started imagining the “what if?” of “what didn’t happen“.
there was a side of me that was gonna wait to download it,
but then i said:

“Bugs today; bugs tomorrow.
Whatever happens,
I’ll deal with it when it happens.”

so i did it last night.
the phone was smooth.
that watchos 6 tho…
i wanted to speak to the manager.
at the end,
it’s done and i’ll see what happens in the coming hours/days.
life is not guaranteed and plans can fail.

So why stress it at all?

someone wise told me the other day look at everything as a new adventure.
don’t look at it as a challenge,
but as something exciting to experience.
change the mentality and eveyrthing will follow.
i took that seriously.
these days,
i’m moving onto living as “fuck free” as possible.
challenge accepted.

lowkey: this new dark mode tho.
yup.
i like the changes in ios 13.
i dig it.

  1. I approve this way of living. People are draining and will place you in things that don’t concern you. You have to protect your peace.
