we lost an icon in the comic world today.
stan lee has passed away at 95.
for those who don’t know who stan lee is,
ima need you to come out from underneath that rock.
stan co-created the greatest super heroes with marvel comics.
“tmz” was one of the first to break the story…

We’re told an ambulance rushed to Lee’s Hollywood Hills home early Monday morning and he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. We’re told that’s where he died.

Lee had suffered several illnesses over the last year or so — he had a bout of pneumonia and vision issues.

i can only imagine.

  2. He’s gone from this world now. Very interesting fellow. I’m not with that top tweet post though, “There will never be another Stan Lee.” That is a lie.

    I understand some fans say some things in a time of distress but that comment is pure rubbish. I look at Stan Lee like I do George Lucas. Two white men that came up with catchy ideas that got further fleshed out by other people helping them.

    If that tweet was true then there would have never been another Hitchcock. Turns out there was and he’s gone to now.

    I hope non of the artistic Foxholers take that comment to heart. Never limit your own abilities to someone living the same life as yourself.

    Note: I have two favorite Marvel characters: Kitty Pryde and Gambit. They are my favorites. I really dig Kitty’s powers. Gambit is another I like.

    All these greats are checking out, I’m a little hesitant one of my favorite directors, Ridley Scott is next on the list then Stephen Spielberg.

  6. They better have gotten that final cameo. He has made several superheroes of color recently and was pushing for more diversity at Marvel.

    Some people were trying to take advantage of him recently with legal issues in court.

    I wonder how estate royalties will be divided up. Imagine making a character and being immortal through them?
