  1. A 24-year-old Port St. Lucie man on foot was killed by a passing vehicle on Interstate 95 early Sunday morning, Florida Highway Patrol says.
Cedrick Wilcox Jr. was standing next to a stopped vehicle on the shoulder of northbound I-95 near mile marker 89, just north of the Palm Beach-Martin county line. Wilcox was struck by a 2001 Acura around 5:45 a.m., FHP spokesman Mark Wysocky said.

Wilcox had been a passenger in the stopped vehicle but had entered the outside travel lane before he was struck.
The Acura was being driven by Leonid Koltun, 76, and Sofiya Gleyzer, 74, both of Newton, Mass.
Wilcox was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, where he was pronounced dead.
FHP is still investigating the cause of the crash.

  3. So many people dying due to auto-related deaths. It leaves the nerves a little uneasy. God Rest his fine soul tho, and blessings to his daughter and family

  4. Wow, how sad, RIP , when a life is ended so young it is always a wake up call for us to slow down and enjoy each moment and reflect on what is important in this life.

  5. Woah, I can’t believe it…..May he rest in peace, but no joke I wish it was the other guy, the one who I’m having a problem with he can’t stop bothering me even though I asked him to but he doesn’t want to. So right now I wish he got into a car accident and drop dead instead of him. Sorry, but not sorry.

  6. Aw this is so heartbreaking, may he rip and my condolences to his family. I don’t know about you’ll but lately it seems like a lot of young people are passing on, we have to live each day like its our last.
