1. Even if the Senate passed it the extension would have died in the House. The GOP views 2 years of unemployment as a disincentive to work.

   Take your destiny into your own hands. If you have spent two years looking for a job in your field well your field doesn’t exist anymore. Look into opportunities in other areas. Above all stay positive.

2. They will get theirs. They just caused so many lives to fall further into despair because of their idiotic belief that people on unemployment aren’t looking for jobs. It just goes to show just how out of touch they really are with their constituents. It’s sickening.
   I swear I wish I could have them switch places for a year with a family who is in dire straits and was/is dependent on their unemployment…I bet you THEN they would understand!

   1. It clearly wasn’t a suicide letter, and you all didnt have to worry. I blame whoever it was for bringing up that scenario for getting everyone upset. If one person didnt say it, no one would have thought it, period. I tried to calm that down this morning but i know people read my comment and probably rolled their eyes, but I was right.

      Let him get his mind right. You all have to be considerate of what people are going through and realize people need time to themselves. This blog doesn’t revolve around us. It is the other way around.

      1. Exactly.I didn’t think anything of it until somebody mentioned that it sounded like a goodbye.I was thinking “no it doesn’t” until they were all like “It’s been 24 hours and we ain’t heard anything from him.”Then I was like “Oh shit.”

4. Thank you. I knew you were fine homie. I was typing a comment on that other post to all that suicide mess. I was like they need to calm down. People take personal days.
