OchoCinco Gives Evelyn Some Mean Head… Literally.

i wonder where was her liquid courage this round?

ya know, i find this whole situation funny.
i’ll tell you why after you read this twist of a contradiction on his part

DAVIE, Fla. — Miami Dolphins receiver Chad Johnson was arrested Saturday night on a domestic violence charge, accused of head-butting his newlywed wife during an argument in front of their home outside Miami, Davie police Capt. Dale Engle said.

Lozada, who is on the reality show, “Basketball Wives,” was treated at a hospital for a cut to her forehead, Engle said.

The 34-year-old Johnson, who changed his last name back to Johnson from Ochocinco after his July 4 wedding to Lozada, was being held Saturday night in Broward County Jail where he will remain until he can appear before a judge, which Engle says might not be until Monday. He is charged with simple battery, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Team officials were “aware of the situation and are in the process of gathering relevant information,” Dolphins spokesman Harvey Greene said.

Johnson’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, declined to comment.

Johnson signed with the Dolphins in June, four days after he was released by New England. A six-time Pro Bowl receiver with Cincinnati, he caught only 15 passes in 15 games for the Patriots last year after they acquired him in a trade for a pair of draft picks

On Friday night in the Dolphins’ 20-7 loss to Tampa Bay in the exhibition opener, Johnson let the only pass thrown to him slip through his hands.

Johnson was known as Ochocinco for the past four seasons. The name was a playful reference to the No. 85 he wore on his jersey.

Johnson and Lozada were prominent in the recent first episode of HBO’s “Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Miami Dolphins.”

VH1’s “Basketball Wives” is filmed in Miami and also features Shaunie O’Neal, the former wife of former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal. Lozada used to be the fiancee of NBA player Antoine Walker.

Johnson and Lozada’s wedding is supposed to be part of another VH1 reality series that begins in September called “Eve & Ocho.”

  1. Headbutting, hitting somebody in the head with your clutch purse, slapping someone in the face, jumping over tables, throwing drinks is all wrong no matter who it is done too. maybe this will wake up Evelyn and her cohorts from BBW that their behavior is wrong and unacceptable.

  2. I don’t understand why Evelyn want to press charges against Chad because as she and Tamie said on the reunion of BBW that Jennifer shouldn’t have pressed charges against Nia because where they’re from they don’t get the police and lawyers involved, they just scrap it out. Shaundie O’neil said no one died. Evelyn didn’t die, so according to her and her girls standards, why are the police and lawyers involved. Why didn’t she throw the condom receipt at Chad, better headbutt him back or throw the grocery that was in the trunk at him. Such a hypocrit.

  3. Wait one damn minute. Wasn’t he just getting on other players about getting in trouble during the offseason. Chad looks like a damn hypocrite right now. The both of them have only been married for one month and they are already acting up. The first six moths of a marriage is supposed to be the honeymoon phase, but I guess it ended soon for them.
