He couldn’t have cared too much about football. There’s other gay athletes, but they’re concentrated and not interested in all of the publicity. For some reason publicity has a negative effect on their careers. The wolf from ‘The Blind Side’ is pissed about the movie, he said it ruined opportunities. Michael Sam stacked publicity with the stigma of being a gay athlete and gave no fucks about baby steps.
Finally!…..something tells me he doesn’t really want to play football anymore. I think he was so focused on trying to be the “Gay Footballer” and it kind of backfired but he still tried to be it even after . Maybe he realizes that he lost focus on what he wants out of life and getting it together. Can never be mad at that.
I wish he used some of the money for some veneers…….ijs
But congrats though. I heard his relationship with his parents have improved, so I’m happy for him on the front too.
I wish he would used his money to purchase some nail clippers…. No wonder his boyfriend left him, he probably was cutting him up inside.
Football is done. I am not one to crush dreams but….you only get so many chances in the NFL. Congrats on him going to grad school.
