I am sad bc I was really rooting hard for this guy. I just hope and pray he gets himself together and tries to lead a somewhat normal life. Snowfox (he rubbed me the wrong way) is out of the picture. I really think this whole debacle has ruined the chance of anyone else coming out any time soon. Shame.
I did not expect this news, but why should I be surprised? The LOA he took a while ago was a clear indicator. Michael just needs to stay out of the spotlight. I am sure he will never get picked up by a team now. Y’all might as well forget about any other players coming out in the future. NOPE

I don’t think he sets back gays in sports because he was never good enough to make it to the pros. I will say if there’s any future athletes coming out, they will look at Michael at what not to do.

Please just go away Sir, I actually thought he was done from the last break down he had when he left the team, I didnt know that he had returned. It is time for him to do some heavy soul searching and figure his life out because football might not be his answer from the looks of all these fails. Coming out was never going to be easy, but to come out and not produce, seems to say that Gay men are still not good enough. He may have set us back a few years with all of his antics for attention. He will be alright though, he has all that White Gay support, I am sure they are going to welcome him with a six figure job somewhere because they loved him so much. Good Luck with that Michael. You are so right with that last paragraph…a complete joke. You should see the ratings for I am Cait. At first I was happy for both, but now there are getting to be too much.
This reminds me of a TD Jakes sermon I heard. He discuss how people only want the position for the validation but aren’t able to commit to the hard work it takes to gain that position.
I’m just gonna pray he doesn’t end up in jail or with a needle in his arm. The way he carried himself burned many bridges for him.
