has made headlines over at tmz with this video…
Magic Johnson‘s 20-year-old son hit the Sunset Strip, hand in hand with his boyfriend … and his parents couldn’t be happier for their kid.
Earvin Johnson III — aka EJ — is one of Magic’s 3 kids. The Lakers legend tells TMZ, “Cookie and I love EJ and support him in every way.” Magic goes on, “We’re very proud of him.”
The feeling is mutual … ’cause EJ told us he’s been “hoping and praying” for his dad’s team, the Los Angeles Dodgers, ever since Magic and his business partners took over the franchise.
He’s also a huge Lakers fan … obviously.
EJ — who’s a student at NYU — has a close relationship with his parents. Back in August, Magic tweeted, “Thx to my son EJ for hosting me at NYU. Look forward to taking him to dinner tonight in the city.”

When I say I wasnt ready for that, please believe, I nearly fell the “F” out. I would have never guess this was what I was about to see. Im speechless, this is Magic son. Well Damn, there are no words, and I would love to be a fly on the wall when his famous athletic homies come by for a visit, talking about awkward. To be honest I was a little shock that he would be this out there with a man in the house, of course that doesnt mean anything about you growing up gay because I grew up in the house with my Dad, but that behavior would have been shut down real talk, most of my homies who grew up with dads in the home are pretty masculine acting, and dont exhibit this type of over the top behavior. His son however gives no Fucks, so I guess he has a healthy sense of himself. SMH still I just wasnt ready, but I guess in 2013 I better get ready.

It pulled my heartstrings because the effeminate Gay guys in my life in my family have been mostly rejected by their dads so I am jaded I suppose.Rejected or ignored. Magic praised his son and encouraged him to come out as a thirteen year old. EJ didn’t have to be in the closet for years or decades because of fear of being rejected. Also I am hypersensitive so I cry easily 🙂
Magic seems genuine with his feelings. He really supports his son, and what makes it interesting is that his son is fem, and he acts like he doesn’t even care, he is really happy for him. It’s good to see.

Dude is very girly and shit, and he is down with the swirl. This makes me wonder. Is being a homosexual hereditary? When magic was made his announcement about contracting the virus people were saying that he could have been gay.
