Who Knew I’d Get A Life Lesson From A Kardashian?

“A bridge can still be built,
while the bitter waters are flowing beneath.” | Anthony Liccione

 letting go.
one of the hardest things for me.
i’m learning,
rather slowly,
that it’s okay to let go and say goodbye.
there are just some things/animals you gotta chuck the duecez too.
it seems that God has been showing me signs as well.
this last weekend,
two absolutely random things came into my life about letting go.
today as i was working,
i saw “111” twice and then stumbled into khloe kardashian’s ig post.
what was it about?
you guessed it.
look at what she had to say

“telling my whole life with her words…”

f7f2ea00-4d2d-0133-3f7b-0e34a4cc753di love love LOVE that last line especially.
it gave me chills.
who knew “the big one” was so deep?
i have faith God is getting me right during this detox.
i am trying to learn to say goodbye,
but i’m having issues because:

a) i got too comfortable
b) i got too invested

f253bc70-8066-0133-6eee-0aecee5a8273as much as it hurts,
and this feels almost like when my parent’s passed,
it’s needed for me to continue to grow.
i hope it will get to the next level of my treacherous mountain.
as pose said to me today:

“You are purging”

i couldn’t help but agree.

  1. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I completely agree with Khloe because in all truth you really can’t change a person. They might change for a few months but go right back to their old habits. That why I don’t blame someone like Mariah Carey for not giving her sister some money. Fool me once shame on you, but fool me twice shame on me.

  2. Damn I was ready to be sarcastic thinking it was some self serving attention grabbing trick since it was a Kardashian and this was right on time, you go Khloe, never knew you had it in you LoL, proving once again, never judge a book by its cover. Good Advice everyone can use.

  3. That was one hell of a post. And so applicable to the lives of many ppl. I hope everyone who sees this can reevaluate their relationships just to see if they are falling into the situation that she describes. Someone once said that you can love someone, but from a distance. The most important thing is that you love and take care of yourself, if that relationship is taking so much out of you that you aren’t able to then perhaps you need to love them from a distance. I hope that all things work out in their lives as well as your life too jamari.

    1. Was it Jim Jones who said it?!! LOL I love his song Frienemies.
He said, “hate ’em from up close, but from a distance I can love them.”
Those we love the most are generally the ones that will hurt us hardest….and that pain will take a long time to dissipate.
It goes away, but it fucks with you and it causes you to reevaluate and look at things much differently.

      1. I’ve felt something for a,few weeks ago. Funny thing is he sent me a text and when responded said it wasn’t meant for me…. fool me once..shame you…but there won’t be a shame on me.

      1. It’s not easy but you have to love yourself first and always. People will come and go and often we love the person they portray or who we want them to be instead of seeing them for who they are. They show you who they are by actions. They show you who YOU want them to be by their words
