INDIA.ARIE IS NOT HER HAIR AND DECISIONS?

this is why i always tell folks…

WAIT UNTIL THE FULL STORY COMES OUT AND AN EXTRA 2 WEEKS FOR GOOD MEASURE.

why?
it will often reveal the truth and if someone(s) is stupid or not.
you don’t blindly follow anything until you have the full story.
india.arie was making headlines over her pulling her music off spotify.
she was against joe rogan,
his alleged vaccine views,
his alleged racist views,
and how she was against sharing a platform with him.

it seems she has changed her mind about the racism on “don lemon tonight”…

India Arie says despite Joe Rogan’s repeated use of racial slurs, she doesn’t believe the podcast host is racist.

“I don’t think Joe Rogan is racist for using [the N-word],” the “Brown Skin” singer said Monday on CNN’s “Don Lemon Tonight.”

“I think he’s insensitive for using it,” Arie continued. “So just don’t.”

Last week, Arie shared a compilation of Rogan repeatedly using the racial slur on old episodes of his popular podcast. Rogan apologized after the video came to light, saying the episodes contained things that “I wish I hadn’t said, or had said differently.”

“I have to say, I did think he did a fine job with his apology,” Arie told Lemon on Monday. “He said a lot of the things I would want to hear someone say. The thing that stuck out for me most was when he said, ‘It’s not my word to use.’ And I think changed behavior is what we’re really looking for.”

so she posted the video of him being allegedly racist…
to not thinking he is an actual alleged racist anymore…
…?

“Sometimes I make decisions and sometimes I don’t.
Depending on how the wind blows,
I might even change my thoughts…”

the remix?
talk about shooting your credibility down in one shot.
she aimed and it was clean shot.
she could as well keep her music up and mind her business.
this is why i wait before i make any rash decisions.
celebs and social media will have you out here looking foolish.

  1. I applaud India for wanting to work with Joe to bring attention to the issue of Spotify paying working musicians/songwriters/artists, pennies. It would be great if he agreed to be an ally and use his power/leverage for that cause but I doubt he will.

I also respect her courage to call out a corporation like Spotify on how they treat artists, how little they are paid.

    1. India Arie never said or even implied that Joe Rogan was a racist. She felt he was being insensitve by using the word under any context. Since Joe Rogan agreed, that part of the beef was squashed.

      1. Exactly! People don’t care to read full stories or interviews and think everyone else can be bought, when India has done absolutely NOTHING but tell the truth throughout her entire career!
