i wonder who listened to who when making this bad decision of a halloween costume?

well these two fucked up,
but it might lead to a really good discussion.
one about how “common sense” should work,
but two:

When do we separate “Halloween fun” and what’s “off limits”?

so ^that gay canadian couple,
who go by @martyjfortier and @manyverywell,
are both in hot water for their halloween costumes this year.
this is what they decided on and is getting them dragged

…and bad enough,
the white boyfriend posted it on his page.
this all equals a really heavy:

we live in some very sensitive times.
they should have known better tho.
if white folks can’t get away with blackface during halloween,
they should have known this was gonna be a “no-no“.
manuel (@manyverywell) allegedly posted this before he went private:

hmm.
it’s like wearing a costume inspired to amber guyger and botham jean.
you already know that’s coming.
it’s just in poor taste.
kids were sitting in legit concentration camps due to ice raids.
families being ripped apart because of our disgusting government.
racism and hate is never a good halloween costume,
no matter how you dress it up.

sorry fellas.

  1. White gays are racist and insensitive as fuck. I don’t know how some of yall can be friends with them let alone lay up with their disgusting, non wash cloth using behinds.

And before yall start with the shits, those queens are white. I guarantee they don’t check any other race box on forms!

I see a dissenting troll on here too. Handle that shit, Jamari.

  2. They deserve to get dragged all over the place with that bullshit. What a bunch of losers to make up a costume like this. Disgusting.

  3. I know Mexicans who voted for Trump and hate other Mexicans and hate Black people. Just because one of them may be Latinx doesn’t mean anything. Self-haters in every race!

    1. Can I be just a little fair and talk about how Black people created a whole movie about going in white face (White Chicks) and marketed it as a mainstream comedy film. If white people did that, there would be a huge outrage in this day and time. There really is no excuse for defending that one. Blackface has been done in the past to mock blacks, white Chicks did the same thing too presently. The movie was pretty damn racist.

      In this case,

Halloween is a FICTIONAL man made holiday where people dress up in the most outlandish outfits to attract praise and attention. I can see why some folks may think it’s a little insensitive though however,

Nikki Minaj went as a lovely Harley Quinn with a bat, her husband the murderous Joker…Cardi B was dressed like a busty nurse getting ready to film a porn scene and there are so many more offensive outfits.

Costumes that range from dismemberment of human bodies to something that looks like its from the props department of BreedItRaw

If anything that guy is visually doing what a lot of mainstream television and comedians do. He might not have meant it to be taken negatively but I do understand his last tweet. F**k those people on the Internet. I’m pretty much the same way with folks on the Internet too. I’ll say wtf I want (though I wont be dilberately racist or anything) and if you don’t like it, don’t comment on my post or my status. I’ll either ignore you or block you. You gotta have thicc skin on the net dealing with people. We have a lot of E-activists who haven’t lifted not one finger of any kind for a foundation outside the web but online they turn into Joan of Arc or Malcolm X with the quickness.

The Internet opens up a lot of trolls but also give you the power to block out folks. Him going private is what was best. You can tell the Internet is full of assholes. Who threatens to kill someone over a costume for a fake holiday?

Hell, the very man America has in office is an insensitive prick who has been in costume his entire presidential run.

I technically don’t celebrate Halloween but then again I don’t deny kids candy either…oof

I bet you there were people just itching to find something like this to make go viral. You can’t even dress up for a fake event without people turning it into some kind of propoganda.

Black people can’t be racist. You also seem to forget Tropic Thunder with Robert Downey Jr in Blackface. To be racist, we’d have to be the racial majority and have power over other races. Also, comparing whiteface to blackface is like comparing rape to rough sex.

Whiteface will NEVER be offensive, because it’s never not been cool to be White. Every other race has been told they’re not good enough because they’re White. If you’re going to make comparisons, make them make sense.

        1. I’m lost so when did white woman become slaves for years answer never they have always had privilege so the movie white chicks was a mockery of stuck up rich girls and honestly it didn’t make them look bad black face was and always will be disrespectful but your to busy being a coon for master to realize

  4. I’ve always been told if you going to put yourself out there for controversy, your better be ready for what comes along with your choice!!! Don’t write a check your ass can’t cash!!! Just unbelievable.

  5. Listen it dont matter white folks are truly heartless when it comes to race issues period now what they should’ve did was one should’ve been the dick and the other one the ass cause it fits them exactly period

      1. I dont accept that period that’s like when black peep who have white friends say it’s ok for them to say nigga cuz they cool no one person cant speak for thousands racist is wrong no buts

  6. Their choice for a costume was very insensitive and grown adults should not have to be told this, especially since so many have been impacted. Every Halloween, a person or a couple creates controversy because of their costumes.
