  1. lol i love Mary Mary, not too crazy about this song but i think she’s having fun…and sorry but the traditionalists you all are lossing people…people are going to church being rebuked and hearing hate speech, less and less souls are being won for christ because the church has become a place of stagnation, judgment and just full of nonsense especially the black church everyone is so concerned with titles, with appearing to be perfect instead of working on who they really are…agree to disagree but the traditional generation has to adapt to win over the souls of the youth…me personally a beat can be used for any song, a song is determined to fall within a genre based n lyrics…Rihanna song diamonds didnt become a pop song until the lyrics were added…if a gospel artist had gotten the beat and wrote different lyrics it would have been a different song..when kirk franklin first came out people looked at him as the antichrist almost in the black community..YET he made young people feel comfortable about singing for the LORD and reignited gospel music…so at the end of the day if you don’t like it stick to your traditional music, different strokes for different folks….last i checked Jesus didnt hang around self-righteous people he hung around those that were hated and deemed outcasts by society so why are Christians some of the most judgmental people on Earth and their walks have very little Christ-like qualities in them?!?! #IRONY

  2. Somewhere in Glory, Mahalia Jackson is weeping with this tomfoolery. I think we need more Jesus and less Jeezy! What next Twerkers for Christ. #FixItBlackJesus

  3. Lately the ladies of Mary Mary have really been letting me down. I was raised on their music. I used to hold the group in such high regard. But after the shenanigans on the show and this, I don’t even know what to say.

    Dissappointed!

  4. I don’t like it
Interestingly I spotted B Slade aka Tonex( gay gospel artist) in the third clip.He is the guy in the striped blue, black and white blazer filming Erica at the :09 mark.He was pretty much blacklisted in 2009 when he came out.Though in the last year he has performed with Tye Tribblet,John P.Kee,Dorinda Clark Cole and last week with Leandria Johnson at various churches. So I guess the gospel industry is thawing a little bit when it comes to an openly gay artist.

  5. I love this! This is going to help the young people gain a relationship with God in my opinion!

  6. Smh. I’m one of those conservative Christians.

Gospel music doesn’t need to be “updated” or “reworked” for the masses! Sucks the soul out of it in my opinion.

Traditional gospel will always be moving to me.

Between this foolery and these crooked pastors bleeding their members dry when half the congregation is jobless, its hard to find a genuine place to worship smh

    1. ^yeah this song is to make people talk.
I wonder if this will start a “trap gospel” trend?

one of my favorite songs from mary mary is “yesterday”.
I dunno if I’d put this song on when I need some spiritual healing.

  7. Ayyeee Ayyeee Ayyeee!!! LMAO “I luh God. You luh God. What’s wrong wit chu.”

The second clip had me rolling. ” I luh him I, I luh him I” Fuck oxygen, I need CPR. I just knew Nicki was going to pop up and spit a verse lol. Bible in one hand, and a drink in the other.
