I do not want to be too controversial but legally Evil King Kris is absolutely right, even if his actions are morally and ethically questionable. The reality is that the age of consent varies not only from state to state, but it can also vary depending upon the type of sexual activity occurring (oral vs. anal vs. vaginal) and can even depend on the genders involved. If we are to talk facts; Kris is right in Texas the age of consent is 17. In fact, in the vast majority of the United States 30 out of 50 states( 60%) plus DC ( District of Columbia) the age of consent is 16 years old, in 8 out of 50 states (16%) the age of consent is 17, and in the rest 12 out of 50 states ( 24%), the age of consent is 18. If you really dive deep the problem is not the sex, which is shocking to me, but rather everything that may be associated; so people get into trouble because they take a picture or video ( which would be child pornography), or travel across state lines ( now you’re talking about possible sex trafficking ), or in some cases using electronic communication to set up such encounters; that’s why I’m assuming in his post kris talks about the neighbors 17 kid to imply a more natural/ organic setup, which depending on your state may be more in line with the law. Usually, when there are attempts to raise the ages, those measures are defeated which would suggest that sexual contact with people under 18 is more tolerated than what is being portrayed in the public.
What makes Evil Kris post unsettling is the fact that he is doing something that he knows is legal yet very socially uncomfortable and essentially throwing it up in peoples faces, and again you get your account suspended not really because of what you said, because as was stated earlier 17 is legal in Texas, but now Twitter has to verify your content to make sure you’re not featuring any illegal activity that would make them liable. I think the United States has a real problem when it comes to children whether we’re talking about underage sex or child marriages, we push out a certain narrative but when it comes to the actual paperwork there is very little to nothing there.
As a side note for some context I’m not condoning Kris’ behavior I’m just trying to put some facts on the table for conversation.

We may not like it and think it is disgusting but he is correct that it is legal and nothing will happen to him if his sexual partner is really 17, and this is the age that most teens in most states in these United States can consent to sexual relations. Why anyone would admit this is beyond me but hey “do you” On another note these young dudes are out here doing the most and by 17 a lot of them have many sexual miles already under their belt, and I have seen it with my own eyes, these young people thanks to social media come after older dudes, personally I think if you are older you should have more class and tact to steer a young person in another direction but these same gay men are the fast teenagers from years past who probably engaged in sexual relations with older adults. 17 by most accounts is legally considered grown in most states as you can be tried as an adult for a crime you commit at this age, and you can leave home and cannot be forced to return even if you are still in school and you can drop out school at this age with no consequences so honestly I am not even tripping on this story or really see anything so horrible but I also had a prior career working with teenagers and no they are no longer these innocent little lambs.
