herman cain lost his battle trying to keep up the good fight (ironic)

ironic“.
there is a song from alanis morissette i really like off her “jagged little pill” album.

what?
that album is therapy for the broken-hearted.
anyway,
the song is all about ironic situations that happen in this interesting life of ours.
herman cain,
a republican and stark trump supporter,
died today.
it’s the “how” that leads to the irony via “the washington post“…

Herman Cain, the former pizza chain executive who sought the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, has died weeks after testing positive for the coronavirus, according to an announcement Thursday on his website.

“You’re never ready for the kind of news we are grappling with this morning,” Dan Calabrese, the editor of Cain’s website, wrote in a statement. “Herman Cain — our boss, our friend, like a father to so many of us — has passed away.”

Calabrese confirmed the death to The Washington Post and said the cause was covid-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

While it is unclear where Cain, who was 74, contracted the disease, he was among several thousand people who attended a Trump campaign rally in Tulsa on June 20, most of whom did not wear masks. Cain, who co-chaired Black Voices for Trump, was pictured maskless and not socially distancing at the event.

imagine being 74,
with alleged pre-exisiting conditions,
while being out without a mask during a pandemic.
at least for his loyalty,
he got a nice shout out from his leader on twitter.

i mean,
that’s all that matters,
right?

did trump have any good words like this for john lewis?
a true powerful voice of freedom,
all that is good,
with an incredible career and adored by all who met him?
eh.
probably not.
let’s look at how real leadership honors the respected today:

sending healing to family and friends that are mourning herman cain.

lowkey: angela stanton king is vex about his death tho…

is she the one who wrote that book about phaedra from “rhoa”?

  1. I am afraid his name will be one of those names in the future that will be a punchline. The “This You” with a picture of the casket has taken me out tonight, this is one of things you say you are going to hell for, for laughing, but I have hollered. Sadly you can not fix stupid and Brotha Cain was a perfect example of this.

  2. Too bad he didn’t take his trump pills. He’d be alive as we speak. Maybe his family can gather some alien DNA to mix with his Trump pills and bring him back.

  3. The way I feel about this story is the way I feel about doctors who smoke and get emphysema and lung cancer. Knowing better and doing otherwise.

I’ll save my tears for people who are healthy, do their best to take care of their health and get something unpredictable like cancer. He was too old to be tempting fate. Age clearly does not bring wisdom. I don’t care about being tacky or disrespectful. He didn’t respect himself and just because someone is Black does not mean they deserve to be excused for reckless behavior and spreading false information that could endanger lives.

    1. ^its sad he was laid up on his deathbed,
while someone was tweeting all this anti rona conspiracy shit on his twitter.
      like,
      wtf is going on??

      1. He probably tweeted that on June 12th.That tweet was a week before the rally. The rally was on June 20.I will always remember the rally date because initially it was scheduled for Juneteenth but there was backlash so they moved it to June 20th.I think I read he tested positive June 29th and was rushed to hospital a couple of days later.

    1. that’s a harsh response, but i am here for the harsh when someone is spreading misinformation. how many people made unsafe choices because they listened to him? how many people caught covid because they listened to Herman cain say don’t wear a mask? he has a lot to atone for.

        1. wow, embarrassing Trump and saving lives. they truly are doing the lords work.

  4. All her posts is just a bunch of rambling non-sense. She like many who think like her, talk just to talk.

If black people said the grass is green they’d be yelling it’s red.

  5. She should be asking why Herman Cain, a 74 year old cancer survivor, was stupid enough to attend an indoor political rally with thousands of people with no mask or face shield. He ass should have been in a HAZMAT suit based on his age coupled with the fact he had cancer in the past. BTW he was sitting in what looked to be the “Blacks section” of the rally so I don’t know why she keeps mentioning white people.

    1. 100%! it’s sad that he died, but him catching covid is his own fault. these Trump people think covid is a conspiracy theory. they do crazy stuff (like attending covid parties) to show they aren’t afraid of covid and then they are shocked they get it. covid is real, and Trump knows it (he gets tested daily) so his supporters need to wake up.

      1. ^its baffling that a covid party is a “thing”.
here i am scared to catch it and others are trying to party with it.
        sheesh.

        1. well these people are idiots and trust the wrong people. Trump is giving mix messages and has been down playing the severity from the beginning. these people don’t have common sense and the conservative media has taught them to be distrustful of everyone but the conservative media. they dont listen or watch people saying that covid is serious. it’s sad how these people are exploited ans brainwashed.
