The Kardashians and the world all know that the reason they are successful is the same reason Iggy Azealea gets radio play and the same reason mtv is still on the air: the media machine. If none of those things didn’t have the mass media machine that is Viacom and the the other interconnected media companies to push their crap into the worlds faces and force feed them to us then they know they would be as irrelevant as they were before the world knew of them.
But I swear we could be done with the Kardashians if we put any effort into actually getting rid of them like the way we went after Giuliana Rancic for going in on Zendayas hair, or the way we went in on Stacy Dash and Raven for being Stacy Dash and Raven. And don’t even mention that Paula Deen/ Duck Dynasty fiasco.
If we really wanted them gone then they would be gone but you can tell they really aren’t that big of a deal cause no one really cares enough to get rid of them we just have our little complaint and move on with our day, no matter what outrageous thing a Kardashian has done it really doesn’t affect any of us like that so I just let it fly by, cause one day we’ll all be like ‘remember them’ and I will get a good chuckle then.

To a certain extent she’s right there but there is nothing that she’s doing now that make up gurus on YouTube and online have been doing for years. Black girls have been wearing wigs and weaves just like a lot of the races have for years but aa soon as anyone from the Kardashian family decides to make it mainstream it all of a sudden becomes a new sensation. ( just like box braids and timberlands boots, stuff that’s has been apart of the community since like forever)

Why do we give this girl so much credit for being unoriginal? She literally appropriates black culture and we let ger get away with it. Did we forget how she used to look? She always seemed like a petulant child looking for attention and would go down any avenue to get it. To me, Kendall is so much more classic looking and the career she has made for herself will last for a long time. Kylie is a fad and hopefully will fade away. I have never been a fan.
