black, gay, and un-jabbed: the trifecta of tribulation

for a while,
i was holding out on getting the jab.
i wasn’t an anti-jabbed civilian who never wanted to get it,
but i had a lot of questions that weren’t getting answered.
i was actually waiting for it to be fda approved.
even though i wasn’t jabbed,
i was on my p&qs.

Mask on
Social distancing
Staying away from large crowds
Don’t even look at me

that was all good until new yawk dropped this bomb on the city…

New York City will require proof of vaccination to enter all restaurants, fitness centers and indoor entertainment venues, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Tuesday.

“If you’re unvaccinated, unfortunately, you will not be able to participate in many things,” de Blasio said. “If you want to participate in our society fully, you’ve got to get vaccinated.”

The policy will take effect over the next few weeks.

i was always an “i’m waiting to see how this will all go” type of fox,
but i see where this is going.
you won’t be able to do shit in this city.
next thing you know,
they’ll require you to be jabbed to:

Get groceries.
Go to the bank.
Do laundry.
Get a job.

Pick up an escort for a night of illegal narcotics and a good time.

this is gonna become a requirement to do anything.
freedom as we know it will be over.
not only that:

It will further give white folks a reason to use racism and discrimination.

it’s bad enough to be black and gay,
but add being un-jabbed too?

that is a world i don’t want to have to deal with.
even though i felt like i’m doing something out of my comfort zone,
i’m gonna be getting jabbed over the weekend.
don’t think i’ll be using my jab as the new conversation starter.
i will still judge folks who are stanning an injection.
i’m getting jabbed because it’s an initiation to live in this society.
if not,
prepare to be treated like a fugitive.

lowkey: i won’t cap but i’m scared af.
i’m confused on why you only need 1 jab to “pass”.
that is sus af.

  1. Hey J I was thought I was going to be a wait and see person as well saying I was not going to fool with that $hit because I had been staying inside wearing my mask when I go out and being extra careful in 2020 and then one of my young friends got that shit and died unexpectedly and my whole attitude changed. Her death still haunts me and many days I just cant believe that it is real. After that I talked to my Doctor who told me that Covid was no joke and you can take the shot and be worried down the line or take a chance and get it and either die or live and never be the same. I had other friends catch it and they pull thru but one can no longer sing and she had a beautiful voice, she can barely talk months later without getting winded another told me of similar issues with breathing. After doing some more research and finding out that the technology used to develop the vaccine has been in the works for 20 years with lots of supported scientific research I decided to take it and never looked back. I was going out without a mask this summer but now I have retreated and started back wearing it since that Delta Bish is determine to wreak havoc on us all. I am still eating 10-15 servings of fruit and vegetables on the daily and trying to incorporate a plant based diet along with lots of water, vitamins and exercise but I am glad to have that extra hedge of protection and I am going to take a booster as well if I need to. Covid is real and if you see it up close and personal many can attest that is no joke and plays no game. I would encourage everyone to do their research and stay safe.

  2. That’s going to make Businesses lose money especially the tourist attractions what they gonna backtrack this once they start losing money New York is already bankrupt as it is

  3. “i will still judge folks who are stanning an injection.”

Period. The same “is gay your whole identity?” “Why do you have to come out?” have “#vaxedtop/# vaxedbottom” in their bio. The heck are you announcing it for?

2020 was just the beginning of this Twilight Zone reality. People still make excuses for vaccinated people holding population dense events. It’s so bizarre.

If you wouldn't say it on live TV with all your family and friends watching, without getting canceled or locked up, don't say it on here. Stay on topic, no SPAM, and keep it respectful. Thanks!
