1310093_o…am i the only one who loves it????
chill.
laid back.
foreplay.
it made me horny.
it sounds so 90s.
this is the “janet” people wanted.
i like that she didn’t try to appeal to us either.
“the younger generation”.
as much as i like madonna’s last album,
she was trying way too hard.
“aarp” style.
im-not-a-regular-mom-im-a-cool-mom-gifnow the “no sleeep” is getting 50/50 reviews.
some people love it.
others wanted some ratchet/trap shit.
i like that she came completely different.
i’m sure her next single will be more dance oriented.
either way: goooo janet!
this fox is locked in to what you are about to bring!

keep up with janet on: her website

  1. I cannot express how happy I am that Janet didn’t follow urban radio trends!!!!! I remember when That’s the Way Love Goes” was released and many people were mixed about it as a first single. Went on to become one of her biggest hits, LOL. Can’t wait to see what she has in store this time….I also want a second leg of the tour with NY or more SoCal dates….

  2. I LOOOVE IT! I love that she isnt trying to appeal to the younger generation. If I was at that stage in my career I would be doing the same thing Jan is doing. I think Janet has a winner!

  3. Good for her!

It sounds very “Janet” which is good. I’m glad she kept to her style. I always liked her the most out of the Jacksons. She just seems like the most “normal” of them lol. I’m glad she’s doing well for herself, and sticking to her sound. I like! Made me feel “chill” which is my style of music anyway!

  4. i like it. glad she didn’t go with the current “sound.” she was most definitely missed.
disappointed she won’t be coming to the east coast. may have to try to hit up Raleigh or Charlotte. .

  5. I’m so glad Janet is back and I love this song. Janet is a true icon and I’m glad that people are recognizing that. I remember being young and one of my aunts use to always blast Janet’s music. I have been a fan every since. Janet along with Whitney both ran the 80s and 90s pop and r&b charts. Those 2 women set the standard. At 49 she still can dance her butt off and perform her songs like she use too. Janet also has lost some weight and is looking good and she will be on the BET Awards this Sunday.

  6. I love this… this song got me feeling some type of way. lol got a nice sensual and sexy vibe. #plush

  7. It’s sensual and lush, Classic Janet for any fan who is familiar w/ her catalog.
I don’t want my older pop icons trying to act like Rihanna/Beyonce. We alreadyhave them for that. Who cares if teens don’t like it anyway? She did that 20 years ago. She took an eight year hiatus from music and allowed us to MISS her! I don’t care if this doesn’t become a Top 40 hit radio hit (it won’t) b/c Janet is making music for her CORE fans only this era.

    Welcome back, Ms. Jackson!

  8. Well didnt really no what to expect, but that was NICE, very summer time night time vibe. I can see me listening to this when I just want to roll the windows down and drive around at 10pm to look at the city skyline just to think like I do at night sometimes. Wishing her well on the comeback, this is a surprise, I thought she was really through with the music business at this point, but I guess it is in her blood.

  9. Ok I can dig it, it’s vibe is so smooth and sexy. I found myself singing the chours when it came around a fourth time.

  10. Loves it, I was telling a friend the other day that I was craving the 90s sound back when RnB was really good ! Everything now is so rachet smh.. This is really refreshing ☺

  11. This has to grow on me some but it’s nice the Janet isn’t trying to follow trends and taking more control of her career. I admit I would have preferred a dance song, but I feel that the Rihanna/Katy/Beyonce/etc. would jump on her neck.

  12. I love it. I love smooth songs like this. Perfect song to have playin the next time work wolf come ova.
Im sorry laawd lets keep dis bout Janet.

  13. I like it.I just expected more for the First single in six or seven years. Also I am still pissed that her tour isn’t coming to Texas.:)

  14. I like it too, J! Kinda reminds me of what she did with “That’s The Way Love Goes” when she dropped that smooth track, as opposed to a dance track…which is what everyone expected.
I’m glad to see she worked with Jimmy & Terry again! Here’s hoping the CD is a beast!!

    1. ^i love how the track makes me feel.
      she also sounds really good.
      i’m all of her comeback.
madonna could have been like this if she stayed true to herself.
      or maybe she is?

      1. I don’t even acknowledge post 2005 Madonna. She really eff’d up her legacy the last 10 years chasing Gaga/Katy Perry etc… I never thought Madonna would clow herself the way she has these last few years b/c her early work is so flawlessly her. Like, she actually created the template for modern day female pop stars. Should have been content w/ that when she got older instead of releasing “on trend” music that doesn’t resonate w/ her older fans or younger ppl. I’m just thankful her former pop rival (Janet) didn’t follow the same path.

      2. Nah…she didn’t stay true to herself. She tried too hard to win new fans…and she failed miserably. She’s still trying the shock tactics…and is failing. She lost that creative streak and the risk to be different. Now she just wants to be part of the crowd. It’s sad to see someone who was on top of their game, now looking to fit in.
