The Boys Judge Me Because I Like “My Little Pony”

originaleveryone likes “my little pony”.
well, i think.
i never watched the cartoon personally,
but it seems to be the hot thing with the kiddies these days.
well one little boy has brain damage due to him liking “my little pony”

morones5n-5-webAn 11-year-old boy is in the hospital after trying to commit suicide — the victim of bullying at school.

It’s not a new problem in North Carolina, but this puts a new face on the age-old problem as Michael Morones remains in WakeMed with a tube down his throat and potentially life-long brain damage.

Michael tried to kill himself, apparently because he could no longer take the torrent of bullying he was facing at school.

“He’s the kid that never walks. He dances everywhere,” said Michael’s mother, Tiffany Morones-Suttle. “He’s so full of energy. He’s always on the move.

Michael’s parents say he was that way even in the face of daunting bullying at school. Michael likes the cartoon “My Little Pony.” It turns out, the cartoon has a growing, and perhaps unlikely fan club — men and boys known as “Bronies.”

Because of that, Michael was teased so much that ten days ago he decided to do something about it.

“He hung himself off the side of the bunk bed, off the railing,” said Tiffany.  His parents got him to the hospital, but the damage had already been done. Oxygen to his brain had been cut off.

“We won’t know for months how much is going to heal,” said Tiffany. “It could even be years before we find out what potential for healing he has.”

i don’t like to read stories like this.
hell i didn’t even know there was a male fan club for this cartoon.
i hope he has a speedy recovery tho.
this bullying has GOT to stop.
seriously.
look if you like “my little pony”,
you like “my little-fuckin-pony”.
here is my response:

“yeah i like my little pony.
what the fuck you gonna do about it?
i bet i’ll shove that same toy down your muthafuckin throat.
i got what you lookin for.”

problem solved.
you can’t be insecure and suicidal about what you like.
once people know this,
they will push every button.
ive been bullied before so i already know the drill.
so stand tall,
stick your chest out,
and be proud card carrying member of the “bronies”.
anyone got a problem with it,
pop their fuckin lip.

  1. Damn, ya’ll really like that show huh? Wolves take notes. I should buy it on DVD and use it to lure all the dudes. Might as well lol. I put on sailor moon, yawls draws will come down. Sailor moon party and my spot.

  2. This story is just heartbreaking I hope something is done about the bullying. Oh and sailor moon is my shit I’ve seen every episode and played the super Nintendo game. ^_^

  3. It’s life.

As long as animals walk this Earth there will be bullying. No campaign or celebrity is going to stop it.

Either its going to harden you, make you stronger, or destroy you.

  4. Child story of my life searching for the right. I like sailor moon Venus is my fab I like Neptune as well and I would get it popin with jade mortal combat, peach smash bros storm/jean grey. My cousin would get pissed when i picked Anna Williams tekken and beat them in her high fashion get ups high heels and all .rose and miss poison on street fighter lol good old days.

    1. Same here sept I would pick Nina Williams, I liked her pants suits. Sailor mercury is the utter shit. And you forgot sonya blade

  5. This is sad. I hope he gets well soon. If he likes ponies, let him like them, dammit. That is his damn right.

What the hell is sailor moon? I never heard of it. Am I too young? Let me look this up lol.

  6. Reminds me of the conflict I used to go through as a child every time Sailor Moon came on.I heard about this show’s male fans before. They’re called Bronies.Believe it or not, i actually tried watching this show.I thought it would be like the Power Puff Girls but it wasn’t.I actually thought me liking Sailor Moon was a hint that I was gay until I saw comments made by straight guys who admitted to be fans of the show. Many of them said they had no idea it was a girl’s show until it was mentioned to them. They’d get embarrassed and stop watching it.Maybe young boys would start respecting women more if we didn’t teach them to be ashamed because they liked something that was meant for girls.I just recently heard a discussion about this subject and many women admitted to liking boy toys and TV shows like Transformers and Ninja Turtles even though their parents tried to force them to play with Barbies only.

That’s sad that that happened to that little boy.Hopefully he gets a chance to look back at his one of his favorite childhood shows and laugh.I liked Sailor Moon because it was so pretty and colorful.I also liked the bits of action in it.Thank God my mom never had a problem with me and my brothers watching the Power Puff Girls.I recently saw an episode of the show and Butter-Cup(green one) socked the shit out of a kid for joking.I was like “Goddamn!, my mom allowed me to watch this.”I had no idea that cartoon could be so violent.Little boys and little girls used to love it though.I actually heard their big screen movie bombed because little boys were afraid to ask their parents to take them to see because of the stigma that it was “for girls.

    1. Zen I really thought I was the only guy that watched Sailor Moon. Thank you for letting me know I was not alone all those years. Sailor Moon had more action than a lot of the so called “boy” shows. They were whoopin ass! Anyway, this story is so disheartening. I am from North Carolina and this is not surprising. I know this stuff happens everywhere, but the South can be so backwards and small minded. The adults are not much better than the children. The parents are ignorant and they pass the same ignorance down to their children.

      1. I also had to deal with ignorant parents and kids that told me I shouldn’t like Sailor Moon. From then on I just kept it a secret and never brought it up again.I remember I balled like a little baby when I accidentally picked a woman character on a video game.It was so embarrassing because I realize now how it wasn’t that serious but back then I cried my eyes out thinking my older male family members would beat me for picking a girl in front of them.I tried hard to hide my love for female characters.I kinda suppressed it too.My older male family members made sure to remind me that I was a boy and that girl things were off limits.

When I ‘d be by myself though.I loved playing as Chun-Li, Kitana, Sonya Blade, etc… from Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat.I didn’t dislike boy characters or boy things but I enjoyed being able to have the choice of picking a girl or a boy.

I loved the other shows like Dragon Ball Z and Ronin Warriors but what can I say, Sailor Moon and her scouts were cuter, except for that Lesbian one in the later seasons. She and Mercury were my least favorites because they had butch haircuts.lol

      2. Awww, y’all loved those lil women empowerment shows. *pinches y’alls cheeks* It’s cute, y’all are alright. I know y’all had to do that shit on the low. Your peeps walk in the room and be like “Jimmy, what the hell are you watching? Why aren’t you watching the Power Rangers?” LOL

The closest thing I watched to a girl show was the teletubbies lol. Tinky Winky was my favorite one. Rumors did run rampant that he was the gay one tho, and that was still my boi lol. I was like 6 or 7 at this time. That might have been a sign for me lol. I guess.

      3. Is there a tekken, street fighter, mortal kombat, marvel vs capcom challenge I smell….. Using all female characters of course

    2. Oh I still love sailor moon, jem, and I’m starting to like the monster high series…. Yea I’m a fag lol
