Is Justin Bieber The Next Michael Jackson?

tumblr_mwkzobpgVP1se11u6o1_500i had to sit up with this one.
so justin bieber has transitioned into something of a bad wolf.
he had an interesting interview with the hollywood reporter where he talked about:
his career,
not giving a fuck what anyone thinks,
his special celeb friends,
and making the next “thriller” album.
yes he is trying to be the next mj…

article-2510712-19868A1E00000578-841_634x786on not giving a fuck and rumors:

‘I don’t give a f***,’ he begins, before elaborating. ‘Not “I don’t give a f***” to just be reckless and do whatever, but “I don’t give a f*** what they say.” I know who I am and what I’m doing in my life and what I’ve accomplished and continue to accomplish as a performer, as a writer, as an artist, as a person, as a human being. I’m happy with the man I’m becoming.’

‘The rumours were coming so fast and furious that we couldn’t address all of them, his manager Scooter explains. ‘Say whatever the f*** you want. Justin’s not going to go crazy. He’s not going to end up in rehab. He’s not going to end up a statistic. Nine months ago, they said he lost his mind – he hasn’t missed a show since. So we’re just going to shut up.’

his celebrity friends:

Justin isn’t short of A-list support willing to help keep him on the straight and narrow in this crazy pressure-cooker industry.

Counting Drake as a close friend – ‘They have an extremely special relationship,’ says Scooter – and Will Smith as a mentor, he’s also had the likes of Eminem, Oprah Winfrey, Adam Levine and Mark Wahlberg reaching out through Scooter to counsel him.

Rita Wilson has also reportedly offered the services of husband Tom Hanks.

The teenager now enjoys weekly check-in calls with Will to talk over any ‘potential issues, emotional or otherwise’, which Scooter reveals makes Justin ‘feel so loved’.

He adds: ‘[Will’s] telling me: “Justin’s got to go through it. You can’t stop him from going through it. That’s youth in itself. He’s a young man who’s growing up, and that’s what makes him interesting and relatable. Otherwise, he’d be some kind of weird robot.”‘

on this quest to be the new “michael jackson”:

With so much already accomplished at such a young age with only two full-length studio albums under his belt, Bieber insists he’s far from peaking and has ‘all the time in the world’ to win Grammys and cement his place in history alongside his idols.

‘Michael Jackson didn’t do Off The Wall until he was about 23,’ he explains of the King Of Pop’s 1979 debut solo album. ‘Bad, not until he was, like, 25 [he was actually 29]. I have all the time in the world.’

‘Justin’s Thriller is yet to come,’ Scooter concurs.

VdC9uCBaaaahhhhh they all want to be mj.
either it never happens or they fall off and fast.
see: chris brown.
being “mj” is not just about selling records or creating controversy.
mj was a movement that no one can touch right now.
i’ll be the first to say ive never listened to any other justin bieber records beside “girlfriend”.
im just not a bielber, i guess.
i do have two questions.
one that bothers me.
why is it that black celebs never reach out to their own?
do white celebs reach out to black celebs like this as well?
like you’ll see rappers or black actors cosigning justin bieber and miley cyrus.
HARD BODY!
baller wolves hanging out at justin’s house.
miley cyrus is new “white ratchet goddess” who discovered everything.
acting niggerish as they.
you never hear them say:

“im working closely with chris brown to get him together.”
“me and rihanna have a close relationship.”
“me and beyonce are like this!”

…and if they do,
its like some big secret.
it would be nice to know we help each other,
because let all the stans tell it,
everyone hates each other.
i never understood that.
is it politics?
selling out?
someone let me know so i can get on board because maybe i missed that memo.

lowkey: i will say justin has gotten a lot more handsome this year.
i’ll give him that.

  1. Nobody will ever touch Thriller. Much less this young lady.

MJ had legendary status as soon as he put his voice to “I’ll Be There”. Has Beiber made anything remotely close to that yet?

  2. Justin needs to sit his Lesbian looking self down somewhere. You ain’t a bad boy no matter how hard you try to be.Same with Miley Cyrus. They want to be a bad ass so bad but it just comes off as fake/phony.That’s what happens when raise kids in a strict manner.About 97% of them go wild.

As for the black celebrity thing. It’s no surprise to me that they reach out to white celebrities more. This is gonna sound harsh but that’s typical black behavior. We always put every other kind above our own. That’s how we ended up in chains and shipped off to this land in the first place. That’s also why every other race/ethnicity prospers while we have small spurts of success like Oprah.Don’t let the success fool you either because Oprah is the same way.Look at Jay-Z staying in business with the company that was prejudiced toward us.That behavior is typical Black/African behavior.Non-Blacks, Half-Blacks, and Part-Blacks first, Blacks second.

We only come together when we have to not because we want to.Racism and Jim Crow laws kept us united because we had no other choice. If there wasn’t any racism and Jim Crow laws then you best believe we’d all be half-Black or less right now.

  3. Actually I hear about Black celebs reaching out to younger celebs.Tyrese has talked about Will Smith advising him to open his eyes about the guys he was hanging with. The Game has talked about trying to help Chris.Years ago Mary J talked about Chaka checking her, regarding her attitude and substance abuse.I have a read a lot of Black celebs mentoring younger.A lot of Black comedians have mentioned Keenan Wayans giving them advice when they let success go to their head.I read a lot of celebrity interviews in Essence, Ebony, S2S, etc and they talk about who they get advice from in the industry.I can actually think of dozens of stories off hand.Like I mentioned I go to the library weekly and I read lots of magazines.Russell Simmons is another guy who is mentioned alot for reaching out to the young ones.
