so chris brown has a new single.
don’t think because he named the album,
“royalty”,
and have her on the cover means it will be a non-ratchet production.
surely you jest.
he tweeted what his new single will be and well…

we’ll definitely be fuckin’ each other to sleep when we are all 50.
i mean its cool and all,
but haven’t we heard this from him before?
its another “i’m going to fuck your brains out” song to add to his collection.

  1. and to think Nick Cannon said that He was the mux between Michael Jackson and Tupac….Chris will never touch even the SHADOW of MJ…SN: BAD is my fav video from the KING and Do you Remember the Egyptian themed video

  2. I’m sorry but why does this song have to be Urban? Because its sexual in nature and provides nothing…

  3. This is why I will never understand how people compare him to the greats. His music is so generic & redundant. Zzzz…..

  4. The ONLY Chris Brown song I’ve ever kinda liked was ‘Beautiful People’ – and after listening to this piece of rubbish my view has not changed. But it did make me think – had a completely unknown singer recorded this track I doubt it would have been released.

But thanks for the ‘Bad’ video! On the ‘Talent-o-metre’ these two are light years apart!

    1. I’ll give him credit…he’s had some bangers in the past. But his stuff of late, along with Trigga…has been garbage.

  5. I am curious and want to ask a question. Seriously, I did not hear him utter the word “fuck” you back to sleep. So, I liked the song and it was a feel good song to me. Had I heard “fuck” I don’t know if I, and maybe other also, would feel the same way about the song. Just that word would have made it ratchet and sleazy. So, Jamari, was that you adding it in or is there another version of this song?

Btw, keep doing you. This site has moved to my #1 site and I must check it EVERY DAY.

  6. Chris Brown has a lean issue. AM he is sipping on the double cup! I hope he gets it together before he ODs

  7. Chile, I didn’t like the title and album cover because I knew it would be an album full of ratchet songs. However, this song isn’t that bad and Liquor is my jam lol. This maybe tipsy King talking, but Chris could have my cakes 😂😂😂

  8. I wonder if these artist ever get tired of being walking stereotypes. I mean Chris Brown is marketed as some sex crazed out of control thug. No one can be that all the time…and no one can sing about the same subject over and over again and be taken seriously.

Black male artist (at least the ones gathering any sort of commercial success) seem to all be directed in the same direction. The last great R&B album I heard from a black male artist probably goes all the way back to Usher’s Confessions. That album actually had some substance and traditional R&B stylings to it. Oh well…thank God for my collection of classics.

  9. I have to say it…he’s an AWFUL artist! He’s lucky he’s light-skinned.

Even his former incarnation Bobby Brown switched it up from time to time. Chris is completely one-dimensional.

Oh but according to some he’s a mix between Michael Jackson and Tupac. LMAO!

I think his ship has sailed, he’ll forever be a footnote in Rihanna’s story.

  10. Wake me up when these singers stop chasing hip hop trends.

I’ve been starting to get into neo soul more. That’s the only genre that isn’t scared to interpret love and shoe passion and conviction.

    1. Neo-soul is the shizz OPM! Ive been getting into classics like Maxwell! Even his new stuff isn’t half bad. Erykah Badu is cool too! I’m going to check out Esperanza Spalding next.

Artist’s with lyrical talent, and a distinct sound (that I like of course) are what I look for nowadays. I don’t listen to this garbage.

Though this song wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. The background music was what was drawing me in. I like that mellow vibe. Take his vocals out and I would have liked it the same lol.

      1. J…that’s all he and Trey Songz know what to sing about. They will never be relevant outside of the hood. Chris almost made it out..but that Rihanna incident fucked it up for him.
